I have intentionally cut my schedule. I am no longer taking more privates or other studio classes. This was a difficult decision to make, but in the interest of my family. I hope to return to a fuller yoga schedule again in a few years.
I am a certified yoga instructor (RYT) who offers challenging level 1-3 ashtanga-based hatha flow classes. I also have experience in prenatal and postnatal yoga. I have been doing yoga since 1987,
and have a strong, daily personal practice. I did my formal teacher training
under the mentorship of Anirudh
Shastri. I have also completed David Swenson's Ashtanga Teacher Training program as well as Chuck Miller and Maty Ezraty's Teacher Training. My classes incorporate the focus on the sun salutation from 
Hatha, the breathing and flow from Ashtanga, and the precision and mindfulness to your body's own limitations from Iyengar. My classes are adjustment heavy. I believe we learn a greatest from feeling the postures in our own body. I continue to deepen my knowledge through classes, workshops, and lectures with many advanced yoga teachers including Pattabhi Jois, B.K.S. Iyengar, Richard
Freeman, Tim Miller, Nancy
Gilgoff, Lino
Miele, Doug Swenson, David Roche, Dominic Corigliano and Bhavani
Maki.
